CROWN POINT | Tension between candidates for Lake County assessor spilled over Wednesday into a meeting of the Lake County Property Tax Board of Appeals.
Hank Adams, St. John Township assessor and Republican candidate for county assessor, demanded that his opponent Carol Ann Seaton step down as one of the five board members.
