Though Democratic Party Chairman Mayor Tom McDermott Jr. is unwilling to act, the party's faithful must send a strong message about integrity by splitting their ticket Nov. 2. Vote for Republican Hank Adams, also professionally qualified to be assessor, even if you vote for Democrats in every other office.
